LEARN - coulda been GNARL, but that seemed kinda dubious
I saw the solution right off, but I spent awhile checking into the different ways those two yellows could be positioned first before going with the obvious.

IRATE
LEARN
I spotted LEARN right away and it was such a Wordle word, I was certain it was the answer. I later learned (ha!) from WordleBot that there were 10 possibilities after IRATE β but I didnβt stop to try them. LEARN would have eliminated 8 of them if it hadnβt been the word of the day.
This was my 709th consecutive game.
