I can see I had a very good day compared to many others. Pretty lucky, actually!

Learning that the word started with a ‘P’ and had an ‘I’ in it was a tremendous advantage. I found PIKER but that didn’t seem like a Wordle word to me. There was another word it could have been but I have no idea what it was. So yes, lucky me!

Scoredle gives PINER, someone who pines after something, I guess. That’s from the list of all 14,855 words that Wardle would accept as a guess, though. Seems a bit of a stretch to be an actual solution, but after SURER, RUDER, RIPER, and the infamous PARER, it wouldn’t surprise me.

WordleBot was very deadpan about my 2nd guess and rated me 74 for skill. “Your guess eliminated all but five of the words in my dictionary.” Still, I’m relieved to get away with a 3 especially after seeing 6s and ended streaks. My sympathies!

Just yesterday, I found out there’s a [TV game show](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lingo_(American_game_show)#2023_version) version of Wordle (actually, it seems to me Wordle is based on the game show), now hosted by RuPaul
