I had a real slog with this one. And WordleBot gave me just 7/99 for my 4th guess! I find that strange considering that it eliminated every answer except for the solution, but hereβs what the bot said:

No, it makes perfect sense. The question the botβs considering isnβt βhow well did you play at move _n_, given what todayβs solution was?β but βhow well did you play at move _n_, given the entire set of possible solutions after move _n-1_?β
A guess that worked out well, given todayβs solution, but would have possibly caused the player to take a loss if the solution had been a different possible solution, wouldnβt be that good a guess really. And thatβs what I interpret the bot as saying.
