Was also thinking about U and saw some possibles, but really wanted to get more comcons, so went with > G **RO** WL β†’ and with that O in the middle, figured I didn’t need another vowel but wanted to try the U anyway, so > C **RO** UP β†’ covered it, and here I was starting to get a little antsy, but figured there wasn’t much left besides > **FROND** > > Starting from TABOO, Scoredle never tries either U or I, or L for that matter. Pretty fun puzzle for a bogey. ---

None of the words had any overlapping letters in the missing places, which made things tricky. I considered a sleuth word to guarantee a par, but figured I had a 2/3 chance of par or better anyway, so I went for it. You can see the results. I resisted the urge to look at the used words list. Turns out it wouldn’t have helped me anyway. @psychobunny, I’ve noticed that you and I often think alike in this game. Not sure what that says about either of us! πŸ˜† ---

I figured CROWD was way more of a Wordle word than FROND. Guess not. At least it wasn’t BROOD. That was my mood, though! ---
