I wasn’t mad at the clean miss, but then my second word dint give me much. Could be a slog ahead! I was sure I’d at least saved par with THINK, and when I figured out the answer it made me, well, WHINY. ---

STOLE, STOOL, and STYLE had been used, leaving STEEL, STELE, STILE, and SILTY. STEEL not only was the most obvious choice, but if wrong, would tell me which of the others was right. So no-brainer at 2. πŸ™‚ ---

The 4th letter is clearly either A or E. If 4 is an A, then 5 must be K, L, or M. If 4 is an E, then 5 must be L or P. I could have guessed **MAPLE** , to eliminate and isolate letters. Guessing either **STEAL or STEEL** is the better play. Sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good! ---
