I wanted to try an E and comcons and couldn’t think of a word with two of the latter - and ended up doubling up on a letter I already knew wasn’t there with > _S_ET **U** _P_ β†’ Which was a bad play but serendipitous, as it placed the U _and_ got me the unplaced P. When I couldn’t think of a word with S in 2nd, I tried it at the last, thought P??US, saw PRIUS and the (misspelled) PORUS which led me directly to > **PIOUS** > > Scoredle gets there in 4 from my start, via a couple of really random words. After a rough couple of 5s, I’m happy with a three here. ---

PIOUS was the only thing that finally worked. WordleBot said there was another word it could have been, POLIS, but I’m not even familiar with that one. Thankfully!
