After 2, I saw my guesses 3-5 as possibilities, but overlooked the solution. If I’d seen that there were four rather than three possibilities, I’d have gone with a sleuth word on 3 to avoid the trap. Oops. ---

I assume bitch is not in the answer list, and my opener eliminated pitch, but that still left ditch, hitch and witch. I was happy to find a sleuth word that checked all three, including checking H in first position. ---
