(In fact, I thought it was a physics term. It’s not; it’s a biology term. But that’s neither here nor there.) Finally, it occurred to me to double the R and there it was. ---

I always start with the same word, READY. In case I miss all the letters, I’ve got a backup word that covers the rest of the vowels. It used to be PIOUS; but since that was the answer a few months ago, I switched to BIJOU. I’m not locked into Hard mode any longer, although I tend to follow its strictures unless I get desperate. I get annoyed by Wordlebot at times. I feel that if I _do_ lock into Hard Mode, the bot should also have to. It also bugs me when the bot tells me that a guess was “lucky.” Anyway, enough complaining. Here’s my result for the day: Wordle 1,094 4/6 🟨⬜⬜⬜⬜ ⬜🟨⬜🟨🟨 ⬜🟨⬜🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 BTW, anybody tempted by the World archive (not me, btw. My NYT puzzles are enough of a time-suck as it is)? ---

At least people actually **call** it a corer!); COWER and CREDO have been used. This is the third game in the past four days where I’ve gotten a 3 after my starting word came up with zilch.
