Wordle 1138 3/6 ⬜⬜⬜🟩⬜ 210 ⬜⬜⬜⬜🟩 15 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 SLANT CHORE PENNE I’m sure there are hundreds of 5-letter English words ending in NE, but just about all of them use at least one of the eight letters my first two words had eliminated. The hard part was finding **any** word that still worked, and I tried the word that turned out to be the solution out of sheer desperation. ---

VENUE was a good choice to both rule out U and to establish two Es. Decided I could still use a sleuth word, so I chose FACTS. That left me needing to use a P, and the only word that fit was PENNE. ---
