Wordle 1,152 5/6 🟨🟨⬜⬜⬜ 🟨⬜🟨⬜🟩 🟩⬜🟩🟩🟩 ⬜⬜⬜⬜🟨 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 READY OURIE SNORE WINCH SHORE With an RE right off the bat, I chose to rule out other vowels. Getting the O was nice, but I began to fear an xxORE trap. SNORE was an efficient word for confirming that, and I lucked out getting the S. From there it was simply a matter of finding the sleuth word that would narrow it down from SWORE, SPORE, SHORE, and SCORE. ---

I think this cut things down a great deal, because I stared at this for a couple minutes before I started seeing words that would fit. I even saw (and tried) FNORD, no such luck. I didn’t see any that had more than one WoFcon, so I tried > GL **OR** Y β†’ and then saw one with an N > **ACORN** > FJORD was also in there, and I’m kinda surprised I didn’t see it, given my first try at the second guess. There were about 8 non-bogus possibles after the first guess, per Scoredle, but they were pretty widely spread and a couple bad guesses could have meant bogie territory. Scoredle, btw, finishes in 3 as well. ---
