What did the bot actually guess when it displayed its guesses? Because for me, it DID guess RANCH on its second try. ---

Oh, I get it. IF the bot had found itself with your first two words, it would have tried RANCH next. So, in that sense you DID beat the bot. But it actually started with CRANE and RANCH. So in reality you tied. ---
