Wordle 1214 3/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ 1,713 🟩⬜🟨🟨🟨 11 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 SLANT CHORE CORER Could have been CODER, I suppose; COVER, COWER, and CREDO had already been used. Much more legit than the infamous PARER. I have an apple corer in my kitchen drawer, and that’s what people call it. I have a paring knife as well, and that’s what people call it; other than Wordle #454, I’ve never heard it called a parer. I don’t think I’ve ever seen Wordlebot lose, but it lost today. And as of now, so have over 40% of players. I got lucky. Wordle 1,214 3/6\* 🟨🟨⬜⬜🟨 🟨🟩⬜🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 ORATE ROWER CORER After I knew the last four letters, it took me longer figuring out what the first letter was supposed to be. Borer was my other option, but I remembered the stupid PARER and sure enough, another food tool. ---

Wow, Wordlebot even lost?? Dayum. When I was working it, I had no idea this would be such a toughie for people. Having my used words spreadsheet made a nontrivial difference - I think I’d had a 5 without it. I’d have probably done the CO(v/w/r/d)ER group in that order, and gone with CREDO on 4 only if my first stab at that group showed that none of that group were the solution. But with the list, a 4 was worst case. ---

Unlike other players here, I consult the used word list and was stumped when I saw that COVER and COWER had been used already. I was thinking that finally they’d started reusing words and then saw the answer, which reminded me of the infamous PARER And condolences @psychobunny, that was almost a 2-year streak. ---

Despite yesterday’s sneakiness (which I snuck in for a six), I’m finding it getting easier. I was maintaining around 10% twos, I’ve now got 75/698 or a 52 game buffer. So either I’m having a purple patch or the lessening number of unused words is starting to take effect. ---

Wordle 1215 Magna Carta 2/6 ⬜⬜🟩🟩🟩 14 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 SLANT GRANT CHANT, GIANT, and MEANT had already been used, and I doubt that QUANT will be a solution. My sixth 2 in the past 3 weeks. And as one who maintains a used words list, I find it often makes the difference between a 3 and a 4, and in the past few weeks it’s definitely been a factor in most of these 2s, including today’s. ---
