You often mention Scoredle’s scores, but they never match mine. For a while I thought you were talking about WordleBot’s scores, but that really didn’t add up either. So what gives? Do different people get different answers? For example, today I put LEAST TANGO PATIO, and Scoredle’s answers were SLANT TAROT PATIO. A birdie 3/6, not the par 4/6 you mention. Are there different Scoredles? ---

Oh, right. When I cite Scoredle’s scores against mine, I do so after having given my start word (yesterday’s solution) as Scoredle’s first guess, and making each subsequent guess according to its β€œbest guess to make next”. So Scoredle’s puzzle for today in this way was FLUNG TARES PATCH PATIO . I apologize for the confusion! I sometimes try to make it clear that’s how I’m going up against Scoredle, but it’s not something I do every time. ---
