One word came immediately to mind, so even with a repeat letter, I’ll just shoot from the hip and try > **DREAD** > > Boy was I lucky. Scoredle shows _seven_ nonbogus possibles, including the [BCF]REAK sequence that might have been my undoing. Scoredle’s more methodical approach doesn’t have that kind of risk, but could have gone the distance if it hadn’t made, like me, the lucky guess for par. ---
