Now to try the A and some WoFcons > STAR **E** β†’ No help, save for the eliminations. I’d like to try the N, and both O and U, and I can’t see a word that does both. So… I’ll go with the vowels > V_OG_U **E** β†’ G is a nice pickup! Thought about ??OGE possibilities, but went nowhere; but looks lke the O has to be in the middle, which means G at the start? Then I thought about how to use the N and it came to me > **GNOME** > > Scoredle says there were two other possibles for my fourth guess, and worse yet I should have tried one of the other ones! If I had used an N instead of an R for my second guess, I had a good 50/50 shot at a birdie, alas. Scoredle on its own takes a different path to par.
