Wordle 1,609 3/6 ⬜🟨⬜⬜⬜ 🟨⬜🟨🟨⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 SLATE DOILY LURID I had the same yellow-L start 3 weeks ago and chose Doily then. It may seem wrong to ask THREE vowels and repeat a letter, bypassing R and N for the less common D. But I got a Birdie with it three weeks ago. Note that all five letters are in their likeliest positions. After #2 only four fitting words occurred to me. Unlid is in dictionaries, but not in Wardle’s list; and Livid and Lucid were already used. Lurid brings back memories of playing non-positional Jotto more than a half-century ago. Lurid (along with Agony and Chest) was one of three words I started with routinely to access 15 different letters. ---
