With three WoFcons left and A&E to try, I’m surprised I didn’t see NEARS first, but I did go with its Wordle-valid anagram > REA_N_S → Missed a double-whiff by _that_ much. I noodled around again for a while before I realized I could try both O & Y and a couple more consonants with > _H_ **ON** KY → It’s a good thing I didn’t try NOOKY, or I wouldn’t have picked up the H that has to go at the end, then one letter fills in and maybe I should repeat it > **CONCH** > > One other bogus possible on the fourth guess makes that a near-tap-in par. Scoredle basically does it all with eliminations today - double whiff to start, third guess gets only the second letter, but with just one valid word left it also logs a virtual tap-in par. ---
