Wordle 1,661 3/6 MONDAY ⬜🟨⬜⬜⬜ ⬜⬜🟨🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 SLATE DOILY FILLY I’ve had the yellow-L start 4 times before, though not recently. I go with Doily, which has now netted me 4 Birdies and a Par. Is such consistency boring? In these perilous times I heed Erich Fromm’s advice β€œMan cannot live without some degree of stability and consistency.” πŸ˜‹ When I realized that I’d stumbled into the Billy/Willy/Hilly/Filly silliness I regretted Doily, which eliminates only a single consonant. But D was the best consonant to eliminate! (Dilly and Dimly). Hilly was already use; Willy perhaps obscene; Billy obscure; so the choice was easy. ---

On its own solve, Scoredle finds the trap in three, solves in five, and has five more possibles left after it solves - so that’s a nine-trap, worse than the -OUND and -ATCH traps, if all the words are valid solutions. ---
