And really, I should have started with that final letter, although that would have still meant four possibles over three guesses, so also could have been a loss - indeed, my 4th and 5th guesses each knocked out a possible without me noticing it at the time. Scoredle’s first three guesses cut the valid possibles down to five, arranged so that a loss was impossible (and indeed, Scoredle wins with a par). ---
