I would have had more flexibility had I whiffed, but now I can’t cover all three remaining WoFcons along with two vowels. First fill word I can think of that gets a new WoFcon and those two vowels is > _L_O **A** TH β†’ Going with the vowels was good - the rest, not so much. Still have S & N to try, and perhaps an I or Y - I quickly see > S **LA** IN β†’ So - terminal Y, starting A, or nothing but more consonants? The last would be tough, with C already used and no WoFcons or H. What could I make if there was a terminal Y? > **FLAKY** > PLAZA made that last guess a 50-50, though that included 16 bogus words. My third guess was 24/92, so a fair number of eliminations there. Scoredle, OTOH, goes straight to a guess that hits the terminal letter, leaving a tap-in birdie to find the solution. A good day for the algorithm! ---
