Two of them shared a letter, so the worst I could possibly do was a bogey. I could have guaranteed a par with a good sleuth word, or take the 25% shot at a birdie (and 25% chance of bogey). I went for it and landed with a par after all. ---

After my second guess, it says there was only one possible answer. When I guessed serve it said that wasn’t possible based on my previous guesses. Maybe I haven’t had enough coffee yet this morning but I’m not seeing how serve would have been eliminated by my first two guesses? ---
