STANG is now considered an archaic form of the past tense of β€˜sting.’ STANK, in my opinion, is heading that way as well, as β€˜stunk’ is acceptable as either past participle or simple past tense. For these reasons, I figured STAND was the obvious choice of the three. But I guess you never know with Wordle. ---

I think i was more unlucky than messed up. **CRANE** **HELPS** a solid choice, but still 10 words **AGATE** this was about as good as i could do here, because the remaining words have a LOT of different letters. And I’ve reduced it to two, AWAKE and AMAZE. **AMAZE** but i picked the wrong one πŸ₯Ί **AWAKE** ---

This was the type of word that is almost sure to confound me, as I tend to avoid repeats until late in the guessing. Scoredle says that second guess was 3/34, so it wasn’t that bad. Scoredle itself has a rough one; it does OK with its second and third guesses, then goes for a bogus word (because it covers two _other_ bogus words) with guess #4, then misses a 50-50 to finish with a double bogey. And I thought _my_ solution scheme was being played for a fool! ---
