Wordle 1742 3/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ ⬜⬜🟩🟩⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 SLANT CHORE IVORY There are a huge st **or** e of 5-letter xxORx words - they aren’t in sh **or** t supply. But the eight excluded letters knocked almost all of them out. It took me awhile to think of IVORY. Turned out it was on the used words list (#59), but I still couldn’t think of any other choice, and besides, we were about due for another recycled solution. So I went with it. Turned out there was one other possibility, also on the used words list, and if it had been the solution, I’d have had to settle for a fjour. Probably would have taken me quite a while to think of it, though. ---
