If I swap N & A, the first thing I see is > **FANCY** > RANCH was also a possibility, and would have made more sense as a WoFcon hunt, so I’m glad I went with the first thing I saw. Scoredle finishes in with a par, and eliminates everything but the solution for the final guess - very methodical! ---

I tried a random word to hunt for letters which it somehow took then decided I had no other choice then the answer. Just a weird one overall. ---

The only other unused possibilities for this green-and-yellow combo on my starting word were PRAWN and perhaps UNARM. So when it came up today, I thought, it’s finally gonna be KNACK! And it was. ---
