Wordle 1,319 5/6 ⬛⬛⬛⬛🟦 ⬛⬛⬛🟧🟧 ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛ ⬛⬛⬛🟧🟧 🟧🟧🟧🟧🟧 AMUSE LINER WACKY BOXER FEVER I made a huge tactical error by assuming O was the missing vowel. (I could have tried an O at three, but I liked the consonants in WACKY and didn’t think the vowel mattered at that point.) By the time I caught on to the double E, there was FEVER, DETER, REFER, DEFER, FREER, ETHER, and EDGER. Failure was definitely an option. ---

Or, OATER, if that’s a Wordle word - I know it mostly from crosswords. I had the advantage of knowing there was not a second E, but I still didn’t get the correct vowel until the fifth guess. Scoredle goes the distance but makes it. It does a much better job at the trap than I did. ---
