I should have gone with the last of those to minimize my likey score, as I could have ended up going the distance with the option I chose. Scoredle takes a bogey; it pares the possibiles down to six with its second guess (heh), then has bad luck with its guesses thereafter. ---

Even though it’s a repeat letter, it does allow me to check two vowels. YOLO! > **PUPIL** > PROWL was the other non-bogus word Scoredle helpfully pointed out to me, so I’m guessing a birdie was about my worst-case scenario. Scoredle tries one of the bogus words first, so gets that birdie. A rare two for me. ---
