Quite a sequence right at the end of the half… beautiful free kick, beautiful header towards the far corner, and a massive save from the German keeper to keep it only 1-0. Then it looked like the ball rolled out for a Swedish corner, but that was the end of the half. Is that normal, to end the half with a corner “owed”? ---

It’s common to let attacks continue before signalling the end of the game/half, but it’s not required. ---

We have still not had a 0-0 game at the cup. How can the Germans change it in the second half? They ave brought on Gomez, which promises to at least give them some attacking options. ---

It was ridiculous how much Germany dominated in the 15 or so minutes after the red card; Sweden really let the foot off the pedal and they paid the price.
