If both games are draws, then the higher-scoring team between Germany and Sweden goes through. If the draws are the same score then Germany goes through since they won the game vs Sweden. ---

I don’t think this result happened because Mexico was flat. Sweden has been excellent all tourney and shut out the Italians twice to qualify. ---
