Congratulations Argentina! They were the better team and deserved to win, although must have the record for most leads squandered and still win the World Cup. And nice to see a South American team ring one up, as it’s been a while. ---

I was just thinking about watching the 2002 World Cup. When the game was over I was hoping to see a few replays and analysis and I really wanted to see the trophy presentation in all its pageantry but as soon as the final whistle blew (Brazil over Germany 2-0) they switched over to a infomercial for a ladder. Times have changed. ---
