Who would advance if both games finish 2-0? I think Mexico and Poland would both have 4 points and a 0 goal differential. They had a draw against each other. What would be the tie breaker? ---

That goal by Saudi Arabia was irrelevant. If Mexico had still scored that 3rd goal they would have advanced due to more goals. The fair play tie-breaker wouldn’t have applied. ---

I think Messi was in the same headspace I, and all other 45 million Argentinians where “Concentrate, we have to win this, concentrate, we have to win this, nothing else matters”, he couldn’t break focus for anything. ---

Another SA goal would have been disasterous. ---
