Pretty impressive that the captains of three of the last 16 teams play for Tottenham. Doesn’t look like Korea is moving on, though, and England and France play each other next round. ---

Didn’t watch the second half but at half-time I thought that South Korea might at least retrieve some self-respect if they didn’t concede any more goals and got one consolation goal of their own and that is exactly what they did! ---

Completely disgusted, though not particularly surprised, that Fox Sports is studiously ignoring all of the various controversies and scandals around the World Cup and airing government-produced “Understanding Qatar” propaganda videos. Not to mention that their announcers are all painfully bad.
