Acunas poor tackle and the resulting shove and the stupid handball I would think were pretty obvious things he couldn’t let go , they just happened close together The ones for the people on the side line seem a bit much. Maybe the ref is sensing things are getting heated and sending a message. ---

I don’t think carding bench players is going to help with that. Just makes the ref look like the common enemy to be ignored by both sides. Apparently this ref is known for being an attention-getter, which is not a good role for refs. ---

Had they given a yellow for the handball I don’t think he goes in for that though. So I guess the non-yellow allowed Argentina to break up an attack for free. ---
