# World Jump Day

I just saw a site [www.worldjumpday.org](http://www.worldjumpday.org) who are trying to get 600 million people to jump at once and knock the world off its orbit. Immediately I thought of cecils column

Do the guys at WorldJumpDay know something cecil doesn’t?

Much more likely the other way around, I would imagine. The folks at worldjumpday probably think that “Hm, what’s your wild guess as to what would happen?” constitutes the “scientific research” they’re citing.

That, or they do know what they’re talking about, and it’s just a joke. One sees those from time to time, on the Internet.
