Apparently they think the first M in MMORPG stands for “Mommy!” ---

My In-Laws have a condo in Panama City Florida and they pass around the use of it for a week at a time, and OUR week starts the 11th and ends the 18th. I _tried_ to get out of it, but it’s “no-go” because I’m still in this “space-boot cast” and will be for the next three weeks! That means there wouldn’t be anyone here to “watch” me and make sure I take my meds, so as not to freak out. So that means no WoW for 7 days!☹ Does anyone know if resort places like PCB have internet cafe’s with WoW access, or do y’all know of anyone who might let me come over to their house and let me play? Only kidding about that last part, but wouldn’t WoW Cafes be a great idea? And before you ask, no, my wife’s lappie doesn’t have “room” to download WoW onto it. I already tried.🙂 I CAN at least access The Dope and visit this thread. If we still _have_ a Dope, that is! 😉 **Woe** is me! ☹ (And **Wolkie** and **Silka**!☹ Thanks! Quasi ---

Apparently they think the first M in MMORPG stands for “Mommy!” That is why some of us call them nintendroids … they are so accustomed to playing single player nintendo shit, and very occasionally in a team of just their buddies, the idea that _this_ game may have a thousand people on at the same time, trying to do the same quests is totally foreign to them. They are freaking jackasses, and really should go back to playing nintendo with their little buddies and leave the real games for those who can play well with others. ---

Hey everyone! First time posting in this (or the other) thread. Apologizes if this question has been answered. I’ve been playing since beta, but I have taken some time off a couple times. I’m just getting back into the game after about eight months off. I got my druid up to 80 (have an 80 DK also) and am looking to start running heroics to build my gear. I can’t raid, so that’s out. Here’s my problem. What’s going on with the Argent Tournament? I’ve been running the dailies and I finally decided I wanted to try out the Trial of the Champion (regular). But… I can’t figure out how to get in the instance. When I found a group, they all disappeared into the instance, but when I tried to enter the only portal I could find at the tournament grounds, it said I needed to be in a raid group. I was doing normal 5 man ToC, so what;s that about? Does it require reputation to enter, or completing all the quest chains in the tournament grounds? Or is there a second entrance? Thanks for the help! ---

Financial situation _sucketh_, Honey!:rolleyes: As a matter of fact, if it wasn’t for the fact we’re getting the use of the condom for free, there’d be no way we could go. As it is, we have to work my WoW membership into the “budget”, and I have to agree to give up stuff like new Steve King/ Dean Koontz/Steve Berry/Dan Brown hard-back novels, (check them out from the library instead) and I dare not EVEN ask to rent a DVD, and I’m also “laying aside” monies for **Rock Band Beatles** so as to make it easier on “Santa” this coming Christmas. I just never _thought_ that I could get so “into” MMPORG, and that it would be such good “therapy” for me! Thank **OG** I have an understanding wife! She’s been just amazing to put up with this (even though she gets _realllly_ pissed looking at my swollen ankles from sitting here so long!)! She loves (or pretends to) hearing about **Silka** and **Wolkie** fight the bad guys, and she even knows when my 2 “in-game gurus” are helping me, ‘cause she can hear me laughing in astonishment as I watch **aruvqan** and **Amberale** kickin’ ass! 😃 I have already made contingency plans, though! Gonna take my WoW game “books” with me and try like hell to read and _retain_ everything written in them. Y’all probably know which ones I’m talking about, right? The big, soft-cover ones from Brady? Could be worse though, right? I _could_ be on Peachtree Street in Atlanta, “spare-changin’” folks, or huddled up in some shooting gallery trying to find a balloon I ain’t popped yet. **YES** , this is good for me. It keeps me on my mental “toes”, it makes me feel “good”, and it makes me be “in contact” with friends. Thanks Quasi ---

I don’t think you need to have any pre-reqs to zone in. ---

My penchant for matching armor may lead me to trouble. My warlock is wearing her fancy purple robe, but she just got some nice blue silk pants for underneath. (can’t see them, so matching doesn’t matter to me) There’s also a blue hood and blue vest, which are nice, but the blue vest (which replaces the robe) turns out to be a crop top on her. It looks like she’s going to do aerobics or something. I think I’ll stick with the robe, although maybe I will switch to a skimpier outfit when she gets her succubus, and they can subdue their enemies with too much sexiness. Speaking of falling in the water, **Quasi,** I still do it a lot, as I have mentioned. My warlock tends to jump in the water in Undercity on purpose, though, since it’s often easier to swim from place to place there…but the water is weird and green there, and I shudder to think what’s in it. 😃 ---
