Last night, we headed back into Naxx. Oneshot Spider Quarter absolutely beautifully, everything going right. This gave us more time in Construct Quarter, which was fun. More than half the raid died repeatedly to Frogger, though, including our main healers. We downed Grobbulus after making our enh shaman switch to resto (giving us 3 healers – we were struggling with 2), and went to take a look at Gluth – that is one ugly boss. :eek: Unsurprisingly, the frost mage and I were on zombie chow duty. Let’s just say that I’m really glad I’d been practicing kiting recently. :eek: I found out that I could kite quite a few chow on my own, especially after the mage went down. Next time I’ll ask our shamans to drop Earthbind totems, that should help. ---

I really need to head back to Naxx one of these days (my guild has been doing Undying runs and that just makes me sad… too much pressure on individuals and too little on the group). For Grobb were people dropping poison clouds in the raid or something? Or the MT not moving the boss? Cause the healing really shouldn’t be that bad I don’t think… And Gluth, yeah, Earthbind is badass for the chow. You’re a hunter, no? Another thing to keep in mind is you can dispell his enrage if you don’t have somebody doing that. ---

That tends to help a lot. We got Gluth down last week with a hunter, rogue, and my priest healing/shielding them full time. Our druid stood between the rest of the raid and us to toss healing back to us if need be, and had his roots buff up in case a zombie got past him and said, “healer- kill!” It helps to have a healer there who has some kind of defense mechanism, because zombies love to make healers into chow. ---

Oh! And about the circling of my wepps being faster? I just meant that it _seems_ (to this ol geezer) that my wepps are regenerating a lot faster than before. Does that make sense? Grats, **Gleena**!! People were unclear on the poison cloud concept, and weren’t dropping them neatly far away enough and then moving their butt - I can’t really blame them since the visual effect is more subtle than some so we had to watch more carefully. The OT was also waiting until 3-4 adds before calling for AOE dps. That didn’t work out too well due to poison, so I ended up switching off the boss every time I noticed he had 1-2 on him and blowing them up. No rogues or druids in the lot but I’ll definitely remember that should we get one or both, good tips to have. …I didn’t know the zombie chow talked – I figured they just kind of gurgled if anything. 😃 TBH, it doesn’t often occur to me to ask what things in the game sound like, although I’ve already had discussions with guildies about what the various /sillies or /lol sound like. ---

**lizardling** : Others may have better tactics, but the way we run Grobbulus, DPS must switch to a blob the moment it spawns. Also, anyone with a disease cure (paladin, priest, shaman?) who is new to the event must be warned that they are not allowed to cure the “injection” debuff! (That drops a cloud on the spot.) The exception is if that person themselves is injected and standing in the best spot to drop their cloud; they can cure themselves to get back into the fight faster, rather than waiting for the timer to count down. On Gluth, there are the two tanks up front, ideally one hunter to dispel the rage on him, one healer for the two tanks, one person in the middle of the room who can help with any needed healing in front or on the kiters, and maybe huck some damage out, and then two kiters (shaman/rogue/mage) and their dedicated healer (any kind). Having the middle healer be able to do some rooting/snaring helps because they may get a lot of healing aggro from the chow. If the kiters’ healer is a shaman, all the better! Drop those Earthbind totems while you’re keeping everyone alive. As a priest, I got a lot of use out of Power Word: Shield, Renew, Prayer of Mending/Healing - you will find yourself doing some kiting as well, inadvertently, so instacast is your friend. On another topic, I’m going for the Crusader title / [Exalted Argent Champion of the Horde](http://www.wowwiki.com/Exalted_Argent_Champion_of_the_Horde) achievement on my priest, so I was grinding faction rep last night. I’ve already made Champion for each Horde faction and am Exalted with Darkspear Trolls and Orgrimmar, so I hit the BElf lands for newbie quests. I went out there at the very start of Revered. I did every quest available in Eversong Woods, then used WoWHead’s search feature to show me all the quests available in the Ghostlands that give Silvermoon rep; I am not about halfway through Revered with them, catching up with Thunder Bluff and Undercity. ---

I’m using a new bossmod and I luuuuuuuuurve it so far: [Deus Vox Encounters](http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/deus-vox-encounters.aspx) (DXE). I highly recommend it to anybody who’s still using DBM or BigWigs. Went back to TotGC last night, and since I sat for the first fight last week, I rotated in for NB and added that to my kill list, so now all I need is Anub. Stupid Faction Champs refused to drop the tanking trink on either normal or Heroic, of course. The jerks. If you mean they’re “lighting up” faster, because you have the Rage available to use them, that’s probably because your gear is getting better. Warriors have a weird positive feedback loop going on: the more damage we do, the more Rage we get, so the more damage we do, so the more Rage we… Well, you get the idea. 😃 It means we tend to have a “gear hump”–under a certain quality of gear at a given level, we spend a lot of time auto-attacking and waiting to build up Rage. Your boss tank should be dragging Grob around the outside of the room (on the grate or between the grate and the wall), moving him after every cloud, with a decent amount of space between clouds. Anyboyd who gets the Mutating Injection should then run to the wall behind the most recent cloud. I park my priest on the near side and make them do it again! 😉 And yes, you can practically step on a blob’s tail and be fine. I’m also the nice priest who slaps Levitate on everyone before they run over the slime moat on the way in and out of that room, so I do use my powers for good! ---
