I started again and rolled a NE druid on Sargeras 'cause Cataclysm sounds neat. Anyway, these random dungeons are brutal. Either I’m with a bunch of BoA folks who want to AoE everything, but I can’t throw enough AoE threat without Primal Fury; or I’m with the worst players ever, like this NE hunter who got himself one-shotted by Arugal after hitting him with distracting shot mid-fight. The next dungeons up are RFK and Gnomer. I think I’m just going to quest until 30 and then solo those two for the only gear in them. The new druid forms look nice. I wish I ran more BGs while I was at the lol-OP runner stage (\<=19). I didn’t know they changed stuff to honor only. I could really go for some AB boots. ---

Back in my early WoW days when I was still Alliance (and had no idea what I was doing) I remember running Gnomer at appropriate level. I still have nightmares about it. That place is horrible. Especially those Dark Iron dwarf patrols–I haven’t been back in years so I don’t know if they’re still that bad, but back then they were higher level than almost everything else in the dungeon so they had a huge aggro range and they hit _hard_. I can’t count how many times they wiped us. And it’s a _long_ run back. The only instance I hate worse than Gnomer is Maraudon. At least in Gnomer it was a _little_ bit hard to get lost. Try running back to your corpse in Mara. ---

Oh man, with the new RDF I’ve done Gnomer with my last two alts over and over again, at-level. Either you need someone in the group who knows their way around very well, or it’s going to be a _long_ instance. ---

Oh! I thought **Jas09** had a _toon_ named “Gnomer”, my bad for misreading. I was gonna ask if his last name was “Pyle”? I wonder if anyone can _get_ that name for a toon? Also, I’ve been thinking about **Wolkie** and **Heather** (Sentinel Hill Inn) a lot lately, and all he’s able to do is blow her a kiss in the air. If I were to type in /kisses heather, would he lay one smack dab on her lips or would it just say he kisses her? i think those two have the lukewarms for each other, despite his frequent absences! 😉 Thanks Q ---

Heh. I’d already done the Wrathgate thing on 2 other toons, so I knew what would happen. I didn’t even engage - I just moved off to the side and waited for Jaina to show up. Also, this mage of mine just hit 75 - 5 levels away from my 3rd lvl 80! And speaking of Jaina … I took a good look at her custom model in the SW throne room, and my goodness! Make her a brunette and she’d look _exactly_ like this hot 19-year-old girl I work with! 😃 ---

… I think the WoW programmers need to step in and get that roof fixed for **Heather**. I think those hammering guys have been working on it long enough now. Probably wouldn’t hurt to spruce the place up a little too. 🙂 Thanks Q ---

And I think the dryads (as they appear in WoW), are the worst voice/appearance mismatch in the game. Watch your buff list when you’re in the area and you’ll find that “Your aggressive tendencies are soothed by the presence of the Dragon Queen.” You can’t do virtually anything around her, she locks down the area. This had a rather disastrous effect on me when I got dismounted from flying over WG (back when it did that) and figured I’d just bubble on landing to save some chute time. Alexstrasza decided I should die instead of being able to bubble 😃 ---

Godammit, those are my favorite extinct animals and now they’ve made it a quest for **Wolkie** and Jesus, we’re leaving their calves without a daddy! I know the quest is a “bot inside a mammoth” or some such silly title, but still… I keep thinking I’m killing Manny from “Ice Age”.☹ I know, I know: I’m taking the game too seriously, right? And I had a choice not to take the quest and I chose the easy way out, didn’t I? Needed to get that percentage - yeah, right. Hated to kill the orcas too. Beautiful animals and soooo graceful. “They’ll re-spawn, Quasi!” Yeah, I know they will but that doesn’t make us feel any less bad about it. Why couldn’t they have made us fight vampires, zombies (just give 'em more power) or rock orgs? I can handle those. Just can’t handle killing animals who have no reason for prejudice. And for those of you who may be wondering, your ol’ pal Quasi “role-plays” all the way! Thanks Q ---

Don’t worry about it. They’re zombie mammoths. They’re already dead. They just don’t know it. Also, if you want to help the mammoths, go to the DEHTA camp along the north-south road from Valiance Keep to the airport. They give you quests that make you friends with the living mammoths, including rescuing the baby mammoths that are caught in traps. ---

Did you mean it when you wrote you were getting “burned out” on WoW? I hope not, ‘cause I sure do appreciate your (and all the others’) help!
