# World of Warships - Anyone here playing it?

A few year ago you could still find multiplayer on the Xbox Battlestations Midway. Pretty awesome game with setpiece battles where you would be randomly assigned a ship (I think). Controls were simple, mechanics were fairly realistic, basically a ton of fun where you had to really understand your part in the battle to be effective. No health bar stuff. Things broke or started leaking and you had to reallocate crew to repair and fix leaks.

None of that so far, I have seen a few people declaring themselves admiral for the day then ranting if we lose. I don’t see it much, but I have a knack for this kinda game and im around 80% wins and rarely have less than 2 opponent ship kills.

242 games, i know i was suprised too. I’ve been playing since they threw a key in the E3 humble bundle, got a premium ship as well, the Murmansk,which is my main ship. Best 3$ I’ve spent in years.
Agreeing toxic chat is rare from what i’ve seen.

Is there a SD fleet being formed? As a DD I feel a bit restricted unless I wait a couple minutes for a battle to begin…

I just started playing this last Friday when I got a code that gave me 7 days premium with 1000 gold. Last night I unlocked the Wyoming and love it. I have only been doing the co-op battles against bots so far but I really like the game. My gaming in the last six months has been mostly Planet Side 2, where I usually farm infantry in my lightning using the viper turret, so the play style in WoW’s is similar, and much easier. The hours go by too fast playing this game, I love the water and relaxed game play a BB gives you. I am concentrating on aiming to get citadel hits. I should ask Wrel to do You tube guides for WoW’s.
