Tonight is apparently Fernando V. coming out in relief of Vin Scully for the first pitch. ---

Well, I don’t live in LA any more and I’m an Astros fan now, but Vin made me laugh and cry all at the same time. What a guy. He really gives meaning to “they don’t make them like that any more.” Having to listen to Buck blather after hearing Vin say “It’s time for Dodger baseball” one more time is really a terrible let-down. Nice to see Fernando again too. ---

I’m still not going to forget that you broke my father’s heart in 1958 and he never fully recovered. And you tried to trade Jackie to the Giants. The Giants!
