As a lifelong Yankee fan, my heart says The Bombers over the Braves or Giants. However, the Yanks ain’t lookin’ so good lately… **rocking chair** , did you eat some bad clam chowdah? The Red Sox? You must be high. And R-Dog, if you want your Mets in the Series, you better hope you don’t run into the Braves!!! ---

Well, the AL wild card is getting mighty interesting, as is the NL west. And as I don’t care to go around searching for the wild card race . . . I’ll still say that the Braves will beat Toronto in a rematch of . . . '92. ---

Pardon me – but all you folks making predictions for the AL might want to hold your horses. This pennant-race between Seattle, Cleveland and Oakland is tight!! And what’s this about the Yankees, mm? They haven’t been living up to their reputation this year. I mean – if we’re looking at percentages, Chicago, Cleveland, Oakland and Seattle are ahead of NY right now. Me? I’m rooting for Oakland 'cause damnit, I just spent $1,500 securing post-game tickets. I’ve never seen a World Series before. I just hope they can get past the White Sox!!!
