Sorry about this boring thread but about a month ago someone posted a link to a world statistics site and I was just wondering which one it was. I can’t find it in ‘search’ threads.
Thanks!

Was it [http://www.nationmaster.com/](http://www.nationmaster.com/) or [http://www.your-nation.com/](http://www.your-nation.com/) perhaps?

What sort of “world statistics”?

On a nation by nation basis, (population, (religious and ethnic composition, etc.), economics, (GNP, GDP, imports, exports, etc.), land area, land use, and a lot of other figures), try the
[CIA World Factbook](http://www.cia.gov/cia/publications/factbook/) (updated annually).

Other “world statistics” sites include (but are not limited to):
[infoplease World Statistics](http://www.infoplease.com/ipa/A0004372.html)
[GeoHive Global Statistics](http://www.geohive.com/)
[Globastat](http://www.globastat.com/) (Providing lists of country comparisons based on the individual national information from the CIA World Factbook).

For information and software on _Statistics_ from around the _world_, try the University of Florida’s
[The World Wide Web Virtual Library: Statistics](http://www.stat.ufl.edu/vlib/statistics.html)
