This is fucking surreal. I hope whoever is responsible for this realizes that as soon as we sort through all of this tragedy that their country is going to be nothing more than a speck of dust on the map. Fucking heatless sons of whores. ---

This is horiffic beyond words and anger is totally justified. Yes, those responsible should be hunted down and punished. But, turning the middle east into a wasteland?, destroying them totally with nuclear weapons? To avenge the mass murder of innocents you will respond by murdering more innocents? That is not justice, that is madness. That way lies the same endless tit-for-tat bloodshed of Northern Ireland and Isreal. This is the action of a minority of extremists. To make the innocents in their country, whatever country it is, suffer for them is no answer. The anger is understandable, I feel it too, but wholesale destruction is not an answer. Justice should be sought with a minimum of bloodshed, glib as it may sound, two wrongs do not make a right. ---

CNN just said they had an unconfirmed wire report from a Radical Islamic Jyhad Movement that the attacks were the result of our stance and involvement in the Middle East. The Talibn is expect to release a statement soon. ---

I can’t believe this. I am in total shock. My very first reaction is this is going to change this country. My second thought is Buddha only knows how Bush is going to handle this. I’m with those that say we shouldn’t over-react. I’m not saying punishment or retribution or whatever isn’t in order, but we can’t be knee-jerk. Remember when Tim McVeigh blew up Oklahoma? The first thing the country wanted, before they knew the facts, was to bom the fucking Arabs. Now the prevailing thought in my mind is I’m sitting in a building that has the words “Jewish Community Federation” in big fucking letters on the front of it. Just in case the Palestinians _are_ on the rampage – I’m going the fuck home! Via con Dios. ---

All the news feeds I can find are, of course, showing the WTC and the Pentagon. My friend in London said their news shows Pallestinians celebrating in the streets. People are saying, wait until we find who’s responsible. Does it matter who did this? We know terrorist groups exist. We have a pretty good idea of who they are, and where they are. We should take them out. All of them. Today, Tomorrow. In Lybia, Afghanistan, Palistine. Cruise missles. Fighter jets. Whatever. Why let them hang out and plan another attack, or any attack? If we know that they’re a terrorist, and we can find them we should kill them. Quickly, before they have any time to do anything else. ---

I just watched footage of happy Palestinians celebrating the news. I always try to keep an open mind about world events, and have tried to see their point of view. But the people they showed dancing and laughing are making it fucking hard for me not to wish Israel a swift and crushing victory in their current struggle. ---
