# Worlds oldest person dies

The world’s oldest person, a Portuguese woman, has died at the age of 115.
Maria de Jesus was being taken to hospital for a swelling at the time of her death.
Born September 10, 1893, she reached the age of 115 years and 114 days.

I would find it terribly difficult to live that long and never learn to read or write.

Got a bud who is (thinking) 105. He still visits people his kids’ age in the old-folks home and recently threw the first pitch at a Cubs playoff game. Don’t think he’ll make it to 115, especially since his wife died last year, but he’s doing awful well, considering.
