Lately I noticed it’s hard to find the unsubscribe button on emails. Not surprised by that.

I only use them if it’s something I subscribed to in the first place. Otherwise, it’ll tell the sender that they’ve found a valid address and to share it with others.

Yes but a lot of the time that subscription was unintentional. When I buy something online I always look to see if there’s a checkbox about receiving emails so I can decline, but sometimes I miss finding it or they don’t offer the option or something.
Recently I bought something at a very good price, and the penalty apparently is that I am getting sales emails every few days, and there is no unsubscribe. I’m going to have to email them directly.
