Jerry won 3 championships doing things this way. We can make analogies all we want, but we have to acknowledge that he has succeeded here. He’s old and has lost his fastball, but you can’t pretend he’s an utter buffoon at this. ---

Not to beat a dead horse, but the Cowboys won 3 Super Bowls due to Jimmy Johnson’s drafting. Once it shifted to Jerry being in charge, the Cowboys made absurd decisions like taking Kavika Pittman and Ebenezer Ekuban (who?) as their first picks, passing on Randy Moss, sending two first-rounders to Seattle for Galloway, failing to draft an heir to Aikman in time, etc. Jerry did slightly improve his drafting as time went on, but none of the 3 Super Bowls were really his credit. ---
