It would have to be _[mauby](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mauby)_, a drink made from fermented tree bark in the Caribbean. I tried it when I was in St. Thomas for several months. Pretty nasty stuff. Also, Stella beer brewed in Egypt. It’s not even remotely related to Stella Artois, but you’re meant to think that it is. Horrible stuff, often with things floating in it. That was back in the 80s, so perhaps they’ve improved things by now. ---

There are many beverages in this thread I haven’t tried, so I can’t comment or judge, but I believe that the worst I’ve had is Cañazo, which is a type of rum made from the juice of sugar cane. We saw it throughout Peru, mostly in rural areas. I tried it once and that was plenty. ---

Some people hear a barking dog and think it went _Ruff_. Others hear _Arf_. I never understood the _Bow Wow_ people, who I feel lack auditory processing skills. Never had _Blaaaaq_. But it might be my _Stellaaaagh_? ---

Miller ‘Lite’ factors in there somewhere for sure. It’s not that the taste is bad as such; there’s just an absolute scarcity of taste. I’ve heard some quasi teetotalers say “I don’t like beer, but I like Miller Lite”. Not exactly a ringing endorsement for that brew. ---

Same dynamic! Actually bought and tried a Zima one very hot day at poolside. My take was that is like carbonated sugar water using artificial sweetener instead of regular sugar, with ( some ) alcohol. It was not repeated. ---

Anybody ever have [chicha, or saliva beer](https://amateurtraveler.com/chicha-the-infamous-saliva-fermented-beer-from-peru/)? It’s a peruvian beverage that’s fermented by addition of human spit. The first step is to chew and spit out corn kernels to start the fermentation, apparently. ---

That reminds me of when I tried a can of White Fungus Drink from a Chinese market. However, WFD wasn’t bad. It wasn’t very good. BUT, it wasn’t bad. I like Moxxie. I liked Pepsi Kona. I enjoy some of the flavors of Jones Soda. I’d LOVE to find more peanut punch. I cannot find a good brand of Irish Moss drink anymore. ---
