It turns out that Reverend Fear No Evil owns an expensive home in another county, but rented an apartment in the House district in which he’s running as an apparent ploy to establish residence. His opponent worked with a fellow Democrat living in the same apartment complex, arranging for him to drive by the Rev’s apartment at night to see if he actually lived there (a complaint of election fraud has been filed). So much for being stalked by “political hitmen” who “tried to suppress his vote”. :dubious: For a truly wonderful political ad, check out [the one running on Cincinnati radio station WLW](http://cincinnati.com/story/news/politics/2018/11/02/anti-semitic-ad-wlw-and-wkrc-sparks-outrage-federal-law-prevents-stations-censoring-candidates/1857213002/), placed by Green Party congressional candidate Jim Condit Jr., in which he rails against a conspiracy of “billionaire Communist Jews”. Reportedly the Greens have disowned Condit, who actually appears to be a pro-Trumper. ---

I see one in my Facebook feed that says, “Stop the Betrayal of Tennessee.” It has picture of this little girl trying to cry with a rosary off to the side. But the best part is what when you click on it, a pop-up box appears. It reads, “As a True Christian, I will not betray Tennessee families.” The button says “Agree.” Then you click it and you’re allowed to see the webpage. There’s no option for “Disagree,” or “Fuck you, dickbags.” They just wanted to put some kind of affirmative step in the middle so that people would feel obligated. ---

I guess the Republicans as well as the Democrats have successfully guessed my political leanings, unlike in the previous election, since I am still getting ads in the mail for Republicans, but around half of them are emphasizing their dedication to the environment. Listen, you disingenuous fucks, it’s _possible_ that you actually care about the environment, and might even make some half-hearted attempts at reasonable legislation (although I have my doubts). But if you prioritized it enough to push it so hard in your targeted ads to me, you wouldn’t caucus with the party who believes that global warming is a hoax and which actively thwarts environmental studies.
