# Worst commercial ever -- show your work

Okay, because you all got to me to thinking about old bad cheesy songs that I only have on records (kids, that’s those flat black circular things your parents have in boxes in the basement), because all I had was my own boxes in the basement I had to go to Youtube and look around.
And not only did I find the Cheesy Song Suppository (man, SO many bad songs, so little time!) I also ran up on some truly exceptional local commercials that just . . . well, if you saw “Jones Big Ass Truck Rental and Storage” you know what I mean.
Somehow I missed “Flea Market Montgomery” when it was all the rage a few years back but I also see the original crazy bad ad spawned all sorts of other material.

The worst stuff is also earwormy, so “Living rooms! Bedrooms! Dinettes!” will haunt me for the rest of my days.

I don’t watch enough local cable here, I guess, we have nothing so creative and so awful here. What about in your part of the world?

Okay, wait. While looking at Eagleman ( ::shudder:: ) I saw [this under related links](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J3v4nC3iuMo&NR=1) as “worst commercial”. That can’t be a real commercial, right? It’s too terrible.
Although maybe not as bad as Who Needs a Movie. That just hurt.

Any Trix commercial, pick one.
Oh, no, technically well done and with a memorable mascot, but we must ask ourselves for a moment - what are we doing? Sure the character is animated, but is it any less than a tragedy that we must subjugate this humanoid rabbit that is clearly sapient just because he’s “not a kid,” hell, even that isn’t logically consistent as I’m pretty sure I’ve seen adults eating the cereal in the commercial too. Have we really lowered ourselves to such a point that we have to instill the concept of not sharing with those that are different through indoctrination of children masked behind colorful characters and consumerism? No, no we must not, we shall not st_shot_

Okay, I figured it out:
Use noscript to block their page.
Click the link.
Now after you follow the link and get the script blocked message deactivate it on that page.
Get to weird site.
For some reason I could get it to redirect without step 3 with some settings, but it’s not universal.
