I wouldn’t say it’s crap. I’d just say it was done a hunnerd years ago. Big difference.
In at least a few of the Silent Hill games, you can pretty much run past the monsters and advance without engaging in combat. There are a few spots where you HAVE to fight, but you can usually just run past the run-of-the-mill monsters.
Um…that, and the thousands of orcs that were already inside the city.

No, Indy asks Marion if she knows where the medallion is, she slaps him, he leaves, she takes off the medallion which she’d been wearing under her shirt the whole time and hangs it on the candle. Then Toht and the generic local thugs come in, ask her for the medallion, prepares to torture her, Indy returns & saves the day, etc. etc.
I’ve heard this complain a couple of times, and I don’t get it. It’s clear early on in the movie, from the point where She and the Dad are talking in the playground about being watched and they show a shot of something in the sky watching them that that’s where they’re going with the plot. How is it a cop out if you just didn’t catch on sooner?
