So ITD, you prove my point. You don’t read for comprehension. Then you claim that my pointing that out shows a closed mind. “No one is screaming racism” - go back and read the thread. Clearly happening. Your joke is “satire”, so it’s ok. Sure thing. “Without the cues”. What, like having their name and address on my screen? Like their accent? What cues do I not have here? It was the characterizations of people claiming racism as “screaming” I was disputing. People are saying its racist, but not in a hysterical shrill way. Just wanted to clear that up, as that was easily misintepred as I wrote it. ---

Love the first scene of the movie, when they’re all in the restaurant together eating, and McDermott starts with the Jew baiting: McDermott: He’s handling the Fisher account. Bryce: Lucky bastard! McDermott: Lucky Jew bastard! Bateman: Jesus, McDermott, what does that have to do with anything? McDermott: I’ve seen that bastard sitting in his office, talking on the phone with the CEO, spinning a fucking menorah. Bateman: Not a menorah; you spin a dreidel. But _you_ insist your people do it, anyway. Two weeks later, the fucking _Whop_ realizes that it isn’t going to work, and so tells his people to do what I and his people have been fucking suggesting for the past two fucking weeks. And I saw that, repeatedly, but only from fucking Italian contractors. ---
