Man, all of those mentioned have redeeming parts. Jurassic Bark is awful. It’s the worst transparently manipulative pile of schmaltz ever to disgrace the screen. No real emotion just ‘CRY AT THE DEAD DOG! ARE YOU CRYING YET? NO? HERE’S SOME SAD MUSIC!’ No laughs (well, a bit of a chuckle at ‘made of dolemite’, but that’s it). The most shallow, pointless ‘characterization’ of the series. ---

No laughs? “I will now perform my people’s native dance” followed by “It says here that this part of ‘The Hustle’ implores the gods to grant a favor, usually a Trans Am” was one the most gut busting things I have ever seen on TV the first Time I watched it. ---

The later Bender episodes are all pretty weak, but there’s usually something in them that’s pretty good. The three Zoidberg episodes are mostly boring and don’t even have many memorable lines. I’d probably put the movie one as the worst. ---

The episodes that involve the two kids are the only ones that I make any effort to avoid. The rest I love or at least like, although I could do without the Lobstertainment episode. ---

The Christmas one with John Goodman, “Xmas Story” was terrible too. ---

I don’t care for the ones with the robot devil, especially if they also feature that gospel preacher robot who is nowhere close to funny. ---

This may be a total cop-out, but I cannot think of \*any \*episode of Futurama that I’d actually call bad. As others have mentioned the closest I’d come is _Jurassic Bark_, but only because of the ending. I can remember posting about it here, right after it first aired, asking, “Why, oh why did they have to end it like that?!?” It was just so soul-crushingly sad. Must, stop, typing… ☹ P.S. Actually, now that I think about it, the new one with the Cats as villains, I won’t watch again. As a cat lover I despise this stereotype! ---

I just checked the original air date for Jurassic Bark, and it means that I must have originally posted about it here _ **nine freaking years ago!!!** _ God that’s depressing. Also according to Wki this episode lost an Emmy to The Simpsons “Three Gays of the Condo” which is crap. That Simpsons ep was a pretty weak one. ---

Added to that is the odd idea of having Beck as a guest star, which seems destined to become dated pretty quickly, like the Flintstones meeting Hoagy Carmichael or the guy from American Dad meeting the lead singer of My Morning Jacket. Although there’s a difference – I can clearly remember some of the jokes from those Flintstones and American Dad episodes. Maybe it’s more like Scooby Doo Meets Sandy Duncan. ---

I was referring more to “Luck of the Fryrish,” to be honest, which is one of the few episodes of _anything_ that had me choking with laughter at one point and then stifling tears at the end. That being said, if you don’t find Fry’s protest chant from “Jurassic Bark” funny, you probably don’t have a soul. 😉 _What we do want? Fry’s dog! When do we want it?
